He feels sorry for his rapist? That is sad and weird.

"Nordal Hauken, who describes himself as a 'young Socialist Left Party member, feminist and anti-racist', was attacked in his own home."

Everything but the anti-racist bit is just awful. I hope he finds help for his mental and/or emotional illnesses.

It sure is. Feeling sorry for a person who did a crime against you is sad. Hope he gets some help since I would not feel sorry for a person who did that to me.

These guys are so totally left wing that they can never find fault with immigrants. Even rapists.
    Brainwashed.

Seems like I'm not the only one tired of being neck high in(illegal) immigrants.

That's not "totally left wing", that's totally stupid. Or maybe he's got that Christ-like kindness. But I don't know any Marxist that is on friendly terms with their rapist.

Oh wait, it's the Daily Mail. Clickbait.

Tragic. I mean yeah, there's always a root cause behind erratic behavior such as the urge to rape. Maybe their home environment was like that and were witnessing these things on a daily, possibly it could've even happened to them. It's one explanation for why some people are bullies, they deal with their pain by inflicting pain on others the same way it was inflicted on them. Even with that fact --- a sad fact at that --- I don't see how he felt bad for him being sent away. Either he actually liked it or he truly believes in turning the other cheek.

If it's the former... well then it makes sense, he feels bad because he didn't hurt him. If it's the latter... I want to know just where in the world he draws the line if he feels bad for that. Oh! it could be Stockholm Syndrome maybe? if it traumatized him that much, it's possible that's the reason why he is empathizing with his rapist. I don't know. I think he needs a psychological evaluation. Feeling bad for sending a rapist away is like feeling bad you sent a serial killer away. I don't see the logic here.

It takes a lot of heart to forgive an act like that.

The comments perfectly round up my feelings about this.
