I think it really depends upon the environment and culture. For example,
in many parts of asia, men who look feminine often gets the most girls. No lie,
you go to a male host club in Japan, and they all look extremely metrosexual.
Go around Japan in general, and I would wager much of the younger audience who aren't in business suits look very metrosexual.

And there are many women who are into that, for example my greek friend, she loves asian guys because they look very feminine according to her.

With that said, the portrayal of black men is usually seen as very masculine, thus a lot of women who are attracted to black men usually are into more masculine guys. It's almost an expectation. So if you're a more feminine black guy, good luck, you'd do well in Japan but here in the states, might be a different issue.

Ultimately, it goes back to my original point. Different environments and cultures have different viewpoints and beliefs.

LOL. I hear you. Question, are there any surefire ways for a woman to know if a guy is on the DL wagon? Some of them are very masculine and handsome.

No, I'm not feminine, but I noticed my Physics teacher (especially) acted a lot like that. He had a feminine personality within him. For instance, when he would wear a shirt, he would tuck it up a bit, so we would see the entire back of his pants, completely. Also, he would walk at a fast pace.

Oh I didn't claim you were feminine, I was just talking in terms of general. Basically in today's society in America, asian males are seen as feminine, black males are seen as masculine, and caucasian males can go either way. Thus,
if you are an Asian male who is masculine, there could be a chance your dating pool is smaller because of the stereotypical view that asian males are generally more feminine, even though that may not be the case. Many of my friends who love asian guys generally do because they are seen as more softer and feminine.

On the flip side, if you are black male who happen to be feminine, again there could be a chance that your dating pool is smaller because of the stereotypical view that black males are generally more masculine.

Caucasian males has the ability to go either way due to adamant representation of both sides of the spectrum, from emo, goth and alternative
rock bands to wwe wrestlers. Just think of the many women that tokio hotel gets.

There was a study that showed people who walked fast generally were more healthy than those who walked slow.

I have always believed there is a subtle attempt tp feminize men in this country. Saw it again yesterday on a television commercial in which two hulking white red necks were put into a position to hold hands for a determined amount of time and scored by two females. In a time in which more masculine cultures like China and the Islamic world are pushing for world dominance, they must be rolling with joy to see the american male feminized and someday be ready for conquest. The masculine men of thirty years ago are no more. Thank you Hollywood and the gay community for your service in destroying the masculine man.

Well, when girls wear a pair of tight jeans, don't we see their butts?

When guys wear clothing, the shirt is supposed to cover the back of the pants.

Good post. This is what I was trying to get at, I just wasn't able to express it out.

It depends on the woman. It has been said before that women like men who look like women, meaning that they think they are beautiful. I have been told I have "soft features." This means that I have feminine features. I have high, elongated cheek bones and long hair. Maybe women like knowing that they have a man at their side who has all the manly qualities they seek, but also that he can be emotional and sensitive. Also if they want him to be more masculine, all I have to do is cut my hair.

Good post. I agree with the fact that it's dependent on the kind of woman it is. I would say that I'm not really feminine, nor am I overly masculine. I would say that I'm "neutral".

Some time ago I was conversing with this girl from Argentina. One thing she said she really liked about American Men was our masculinity. Now I know her opinion may not be a surprise but she made a clear destinction between the men here and in her country. Let's keep it real, brothas take the make up off man! That shit ain't cool! Dressing up like Momma Madea is great on film not in real life!.
