    In the words of Mr. Spock, "fascinating". Will there ever be a movie about a relationship like this one. I think the BM/WW of that era and further back in the Jim Crow era would be fascinating. Unfortunately it will never be told.

In 1932, Beacon Journal sports scribe Jim Schlemmer said the Gorilla moniker didn't fit ''in looks or actions,'' and called Jones ''as classy a piece of fighting machinery as the game has known.''

    Yeah they were very tight according to that article! I have a newly found respect for Mae West now & for William Jones for refusing money to do a tell all. That's so unusual compared to today's celebrities.
