Madden 10 - Might Blaze this Joint...

I've been on the fence with Madden games, ever since NFL 2k5, which in my opinion, smacked the dust off of Ol' Boys face. I liked how you could assign various types of training to players, assign practices and off days, etc. It was a very good football game, with in-depth team management aspects, that went beyond signing players and organizing depth charts.

But, with this new Madden coming out, and the addition of piles on top of fumbles (how many times has someone poked you in the face during those), piles trying to stop a strong running back, and Ben Roethlisberger's 'towel,' I may scoop it up. I nixed the college one, because I don't think EA put in enough effort to really warrant a purchase this year.

This might be the year I buy a Madden title and keep it for more than 2 days.

    2 days?

You return opened games w/ no problem?

I returned madden 09 with no problem. The white dude at EB was pretty 'down,' and said 'you're returning this because it's defective, right (wink wink).' Took me a while to catch on but I was like 'yeah, that's right (wink).' I picked up NHL 09 instead. I wish NFL2k was still going with the NFL license.

back to Madden tho, it's actually not bad. I guess it took me some time to ween myself away from the College game, which has a totally different feel to it, than the glitz/glamour pro game.

The pro shit is legit, though.

    I never liked college games.

I'm thinking of stocking up on a few games since PS3 just went down to $300.

NBA Live is another series I've always liked.

Lakers, baby! (had to throw that in there.)

the downfall of the ps3 was its nucking futs pricetag. It's a snazzy system no doubt, but the damn thing cost the same as the NEO-GEO back when it first came out, and NO ONE had that joint rolled up on my block! (unless buddy was slingin' yay and buyin' mink coats on the weekend).

I loved the college football games, but they haven't changed much, so I skipped it this year. PLUS, madden has that pro-tak shit, where like 9 husky dudes pile onto whoever has the ball and attempts to stop them. Fighting over fumbles is fun too. With those additions, I decided Madden changed enough to warrant 60 bucks. For longevity, the sports games is where it's at.

that cat had the NEO-GEO plus all the fighting jawns in his crib...

last note about the ps3 tho...is that it's made by the Japanese and you can tell..

it's quiet as hell (seriously buck, is it on?), plus it does not break down like a cheap american car (or xbox360)

my 360 broke like 5 months after I got it..but the ps3 is bumpin' all night like a Toyota.

I only do the Japanese electronics.

    Except maybe, Apple products.

I can't wait til Gran Turismo 5 comes out!

    lol

some men still rock pink gear, but it was big for a minute. The rappers started wearing 'soft' colors associated with females and stuff.
