I read of a story from the Washington Post about Loving Day the push for a holiday celebrating the anniversary of the Supreme Court case allowing IM in 1967. Here is the website: http//www.lovingday.org
I love love love this concept! I am not American, but it still speaks to me! I visited the site and the "testimonials" part really got me teary eyed! :smt022 I love it! Ain't love grand?! :smt055
Good idea, in fact, it's something that is desperately needed in today's world... and, shouldn't this thread be in another forum?
Oh that was harsh! :smt021 You're mean!!! To bring it up so soon after the tragedy like that... sheesh...
You are from Edmonton? I thought you live in Toronto or Vancouver. I didn't know. Besides it was tragic when the Canes lost 4-0 last Saturday. It was a miracle when they won in spite of numerous injuries.
no no... I'm not from Edmonton... but I am patriotic! I'm from Ottawa and VERY disappointed in our Sens this year! :smt076
During the Canes celebration in downtown Raleigh,I saw a Canadian flag along with the American flag. Some of those Canes are Canadian so it is all good.
