Yeah, they want that small government - except when it comes to the reproductive lives of women. There's another state working on a bill which would make all miscarriages subject to investigation. Since a lot of fertilized eggs don't implant, women have miscarriages before they even know they have a fertilized egg.

I suggested that all women in the state mail the guy their used tampons and pads every month so he can inspect them for escaping eggs.

This is nothing new. As a resident of the Boot in the Nation, it's evident that it's a heavily conservative state. And only a few parishes tend to make it slightly more purple.

As for LaBruzzo, he's been desperate in his attempts to fight against any rights for women beyond reasonable doubt. This year, he proposed a bill to ban all forms of abortions. Did it pass at all? No. In fact, the bill was defeated by a heavily Republican majority.

    The reason? Very extreme position.

He's bad news throughout the state and I'm afraid that majority of people will overwhelmingly vote this jackass in the National Congressional position should the congressman in his district were to retire. But that's a long road to consider. He's more likely to run for Senate against Mary Landrieu. Sadly, she's the last of the Southern Democrats and the future doesn't look too bright. However, her approval rating is pretty high so there won't be a lot of worries.

Those Tea Baggers and their ilk want women to be under their thumb. Pro Life my foot. They don't care when the kids grow up and it is easy to force or intimidate people than to care for children. Has anyone seen Rachel Maddow on the anti abortion push in Kansas and elsewhere? It is interesting.

They dont give a rat's fuzzy back end about the incubators..excuse me...women attached to the fetuses, and they don't give a shit about the children who are already born and living in poverty. 1 in 4 kids in the US goes to bed hungry every night, and in a nation which sprouts billionaires like dandelions, that's obscene.
