I'm trying to find out, has anyone ever seen one of those nature/animal shows that take place in Africa, were the host/researcher/biologist were native Black people?

Because usually they seem to be either White British or White South African. You will see Black people as assistants or laborers, but rarely as the person in charge. I think it would be nice to show the Black native people taking a leadership role, in the caring of their own countries wildlife.

I would agree with you..because there is a war going on with the majestic African wildlife, and poachers. Asia's disgraceful, disrespectful appetite for African horned animals is insatiable. A national figurehead for each country that has a native wildlife specific to them may be the thing needed to save them from extinction.
