A Florida woman flew from Orlando to Newark with a loaded handgun in her purse this morning after forgetting to tell airport screeners about the gun, The Post has learned. The 37-year-old woman, who works as a firefighter in the Orlando area, realized she still had the gun when she was on the plane and reported it to Port Authority officers after she exited United Airlines Flight 15, which arrived in Newark at 10:24 a.m., said Port Authority police spokesman Al Della Fave. “She was visibly upset. She said she had a license to carry it and just forgot to check it,” Della Fave said. “The officer took possession of the handgun and made it safe and contacted the Essex County prosecutor who declined to prosecuted based on the fact that the woman self-reported it ======================================== I bet if it was grandma’s shampoo or little kids toothpaste they would’ve made huge fuss about it, but a loaded gun on the plane, nah, it ain’t a big deal, lol Another outstanding job by TSA (Three stooges Agency)
And I thought I was bad for flying from Washington, DC to Toronto, Canada with scissors in my carry on, lol. Last minute packing before I left for the summer break and thought I put scissors in the bag to be checked... oops. They checked my purse, since my wallet is made out of duct tape and because I usually have what feels like 5 pounds of coins in my purse too, lol. But, no one caught the scissors till I boarded the third plane of the day. Told them to just take the scissors and throw them out.. was the only option. But yup. Three Stooges Agency... I like that, and will now be giggling when I go through security again
