Live Music or DJ?

If you are going out, would you rather go listen to some live music or dance to a DJ?

i really like live music, but where I live it is mostly broke down old white dudes playing the spots. Thankfully my husband is versatile and can dance to just about anything. He came up in Lousianna so he loves live music. But honestly, I would rather not go sit and listen to songs about beer and honkey tonkin.

I really like live music...jazz clubs in particular.

Once in awhile I'll go to a little club to dance and it has a DJ with an "Older" crowd and it's not overly crowded.

 

Anything close is pretty bad. We have to go into Dallas, Ft Worth or Arlinton to really find anything worth my time. And even then I dont want to go unless I know someone who has been there and recommends it.

 

Not really a big fan of either, but I'd probably choose live music. The crowd gets more hyped when it's live.

 

Well i prefer a good DJ, live music i have to say bores me to the core, even at the couple of concerts ive been to i tend to get bored as i usually only like one or 2 songs of an artist.

There are live music gigs ive been to on the outskirts of London Pubs and stuff absolutely not my thing.

Well, Thursday night the local Mercedes dealership threw a party to introduce the new GLK. Outside there is free valet and car washes, inside full open bar and wonderful food. And what else is going on inside? Some shitty country band that is so off key, they had my martini glass buzzing. They even played Elvis.

I am stuck in suburan hell.

 

damn girl that's way worse than sub-urban hell! That's COUNTRY hell!

 

Live music definitely but I love a DJ set too as long as it's decent music.

Not too big on live music but every now and then is cool. I'm up for concerts of my favorite artist anyday, though.

 

I think my answer is obvious

 

Depends on where I'm going out.
If I'm clubbing, then DJ but if we're just out for a few drinks or whatever live music can be good! Live music in a club isn't really my thing, people get too hyper.

 

Attending a live event is like intermission before the big show. I'm a Raver. I don't fancy watching someone on stage playing instruments. I lose interest quickly. I rather enter a club, music blasting, with an ample amount of bass while searching for a girl on the dance floor to seduce. :wink:
