There has been news about LL's accident. After leaving a club she crashed her car into a tree... and there were other things. Do you think she will go to jail? 1) Driving under the influence...she is under the drinking age as well. 2) The police found cocaine in her car. (Possession of a controlled substance). 3) Running away from the accident. (Fleeing the scene of an accident).
From what I've heard, she isn't going to jail. She's just checking into rehab so that she can clear up whatever decency her image still has. Let's not forget she's: - young (under 21) - rich - famous - lives in West Los Angeles. - notorious for partying and being addicted to illicit drugs. She's a cocaine user? I highly doubt she's gonna quit anytime soon based on the points listed so all that rehab talk, we can throw that out the window. And as far as breaking the law. She had a DUI & COCAINE was found in her car. That's ALL the reason to send her ass to jail and pay fines up the wazoo!
I think so. Maybe it's the reality check she needs - these people think they're invincible. Drug users and especially dealers need face stiffer penalties, because with illegal drug use usually comes more serious crimes.
This is why the justice system here in the United States is a joke. The system states that everyone will be treated equally, yet if you are rich/famous you can get away with almost anything. If LL was an ordinary 20 year old woman, the kind that you see walking down the street not rich/famous, and did exactly what she did the punishment would have been worse. If she didn't have any prior arrests then I guess she would get "house arrest (ankle bracelet)"; however, if she did have a prior arrest then she would get probation (at the minimum). Another thing which bothers me is the fact that after all of this LL will not have a criminal record file.
