I've never been raped, but I can still put myself into that mindset in order to sympathize with women/girls/men/boys who have.

It is a power and dominance thing, like all violent crimes.

Ah! so they radiated you? Do you take pills now to replace the thyroid hormones or the managed to fix it perfectly?

Its a while ago.. we all will have to deal with loved ones passing.
Its in the past and it gave me a passion.

I agree with what your saying if you're talking about a serial case in which the dominance is the high but in singular events isn't a little simpler. Like a mugger who mugs people for money to buy things he needs or want the drive is the money not the power so if you follow the same line of thinking wouldn't rape be just about the sex? Like I said earlier it's an interesting topic. Deviance fascinates me like what cause one mind to seek power through rape and another through arson. Are we all capable of this kind of behavior. What can be done to stop it?

My heart definitely sings for you my friend. They actually got it all and say I don't need pills to regulate my thyroid but I think I do. I can weight too easily. I'm lucky I'm active but I often fear i'm one broken leg away from obesity.

No. That's not the case at all.

Rape has nothing to do with sex. Even in isolated instances, where a man only rapes one woman, he's doing it out of anger against that woman or a woman who has wronged him.

You think rape is a singular event? It's not the sort of thing a man generally does, marks it off his 'have to try that once before I die' list, and then goes back to being a normal human being.

I think you're maybe looking at it from the perspective of the mugger needed money and so he mugged someone, the rapist needed sex and so he raped someone? That's not how it works. I realize that it's hard for men who don't think like rapists to grasp this, but rape isn't about sex. If you take sex out of the equation you see all that's left is power/dominance/control. I'm not sure why some men have trouble separating sex from rape, but an awful lot of them do. I think perhaps the men who aren't wired like that just can't imagine their dicks for anything other than sex, they don't equate it with being a weapon. It's not the sexual act itself that they get off on, it's the fear and pain they inflict in taking something that they have no right to.

aww.. now y'all are making me blush:)

Cancer is a part of aging and probably not a cause for concern unless they all had the same cancer. Get the history of it so you are informed

Not really, thyroid cancer is one we are excellent at treating.
