I think is that rape is a sexual act not an act of power. Guns are about power. To say that rapists rape for power is like saying that the mugger mugs people as an act of violence rather than because he wants their money. Also if rape was about power, then why don’t men rape rich and powerful women ? What disturbs women about rape is not the sex, it's the lack of control, it's the fact that they don't get to decide who they allow *IN*. Rape is the ULTIMATE overthrowing of sexual power.

I know of men who are in jail, that have been falsely accused of rape, rape is hard crime to prove and some women have filed false rape claims on men to get back at them. This doesn't mean I'm pro-rape, I'm aganist rape as long as it's genuine but it’s easy to sit back and think that men are the big bad enemy who the predators of women and women are innocent victims in all this, but my life experiences has taught me different.

 

You obviously have no clue about what it feels like to be helpless and to have your power taken away against your will. It IS about power, not about who we get to choose to fuck us. WTH?
