I think perhaps your assertion that an erection is indicative of sexual desire, ergo rape is a sexual act, is simply an attempt to make it alright in your mind. As long as you can view rape as being about a man taking sex because he's horny, then it's palatable. After all, in your mind men have a right to regular sex, and women denying that is wrong since men were put on this planet first, and women came second and therefore should be the subservient one in all respects. You think men were hard-wired to seek out sex, well guess what so were women and we don't go around forcing ourselves on men. Bottomline, if you're looking at a woman and thoughts of raping her are going through your mind, it's not natural, it's not driven solely by being horny, and you've got issues. At the point you act on those desires to dominate and control her sexually, you are a rapist and there's absolutely no justification for what you've done. You can tell yourself it's just you wanting the sex you deserve, but the fact is you're sick, you have some type of psychological issue and you need to seek help from a mental health professional.

I totally agree with you Espy. This kid is sick and really needs therapy. The only thing you said that I found problem with is that women want sex but don't force themselves on me. It's not because they can't be deviants but they physically can't.

 

Maybe that's true with you Andrae, but there are small men and boys whom a strong woman could physically overpower, but female on male rape is still really rare. I absolutely agree that both men and women can engage in deviant behavior, there's just obviously a lower percentage of female rapists. I'm sure there are any number of theories and studies as to why that is, however personally I think a lot has to do with the desire to use rape as a weapon to gain power over someone. In a lot of interviews that I've seen and read with convicted rapists, they mention feeling emasculated and raping women was a way to get back some of that power they felt they'd lost. Emasculation is obviously not an issue for the average woman and traditionally we tend to define ourselves in different terms than men, so perhaps that's one of the reasons you find less female rapists and serial killers.
