    no surprise there...

and I agree with the FIA to strip Spain of Grand Prix hosting privileges, if they can't police that crap

Especially in Spain. I wonder if they hate themselves since they drove away the Moors? The Spanish got to get their act together.

I consider Spain as the Euro equivalent to Arkansas, simply because of acts like this and how the people treat the black soccer players there.

The FIA, however, have warned that Spain could even be stripped of its grands prix as a result of such incidents, with the country due to host two races this year, at Barcelona and Valencia.

A spokesman said: "FIA are surprised and disappointed at the abuse directed at Lewis Hamilton. An act of this kind is a clear breach of the principles enshrined in the FIA statutes, and any repetition will result in sanctions."

The management at the circuit have also warned spectators about their behaviour. Ramon Pradera, the circuit director, added: "We would like to make a plea to the fans to behave correctly. No type of offensive behaviour can be tolerated."

I think the most important thing about this situation is that there are people in power that have the ability to put some sort of an end to this sort of behavior.

You can't stop them all but you can take their opportunities away. Great call FIA.

However, the thing i like about Europeans when it comes to race is this - acountability. This thing is all over the news there and there is swift condemnation from everyone. If that happened here, there will be some people who will try their darnest to defend what those idiots did, citing "political correctness" and whatever. But over in Europe, none of that. Most people aren't tolerating that kind of nonsense.

It would be a shame for the whole country (of fans) to suffer for the actions of a few fools. On the other hand, the cynic in me wonders if they would be so loud in the condemnation of their actions if they weren't afraid of losing their grand prix. The cynic is strong with me today.

Just to stir the pot, this is why the 'PC" stuff gets disrespect. If you are just saying what you think others want you to hear for your own selfish reasons, then you are like a freshly painted outhouse, pretty on the outside but still full of nasty sh*%.

That's o.k. I suck at making myself understood today. Doing too many things at once. I'll be quiet now. [IMG]

The Spanish has done a lot of racist activity. Can't they tell a Black man from Africa to a brother from the States? I doubt they do.

You know what, it seems as if hating black people is like the "cool" thing to do.

I hope you all know my previous post was complete sarcasm.

I wasn't being sarcastic about many people's views towards blacks though.

SoCal i understand, you're soo right. It seems like racism is like a fashion parade where everyone is putting on a show to determine who's best at it.

It's obvious you've never been to Spain nor anywhere else in Europe.
