That was not surprising since I read about it during the 70's.

Another 20 years America will be completely accepting of interracial marriage as the "old guard" of racist people who lived in 50s die out and the people who where born in the 2000s who never experience Jim Crow come of age.

Oh there will still be pockets of racist groups of people but every generation it get better.

To the young persons I think racism will still exist because of certain stupid acts by some young whites.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but racism is a form of prejudice. Prejudice is a characteristic that ALL human beings have. It is a character trait that humans will carry with them forever.

You can't stamp out racism anymore than you can stamp out being prejudice, they are one in the same.

    ? ?[rey-siz-uhm] Show IPA
    noun
    1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
    2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
    3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Based on the dictionary definition of the two words, racism is just a small form of prejudice: prejudice is all inclusive, racism is just about race.
