Hollywood *may* push towards liberal causes, but it's mainly for social issues and rightfully so. It's that conservative America seemingly forgot about people like Alex P. Keaton, and also there are conservative celebrities that many of us know all too well, but would never suspect.

So what on what the Right said about Hollywood. I remember Family Ties and Alex Keaton the teen who loved Reagan. That was mentioned in that book as well.

The idea that Hollywood has bias's, shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

I mean just look at the way it portrays Americas ethnic population. Certain ethnic groups are vastly overrepresented, while others are almost ridiculously underrepresented.

Also look at the way Hollywood portrays Religious people. When was the last time a devoutly religious person, was portrayed as anything other than a simpleton, a villain, a bigot, or a criminal?

There is also, the bias against masculinity and fathers. Any masculine energy is portrayed as negative, abusive or destructive. Men are increasingly being portrayed as immature, nebbish or overtly feminine. While fathers are portrayed as disconnected, subservient and incompetent.

The important thing is to remind ourselves to think for ourselves.

Anyways, whatever to the article. I can't imagine a story that isn't pushing some agenda, belief, world view. You couldn't have a story without 'em.

Watch very little T.V., mostly news for current events and even that is suspect for brainwashing.
