I cant find the one with Richard gere on it.

Anyway, noticed how they are sensual with oneanother and coized up.Ofcourse when they decide to do one with the ONLY black man ever to be on the cover of womens vouge, they change up all of a sudden. Not only that, but they made him do that horrid savage facial expression perpetuating the "savage black man" stereotype.

Reminds me of King kong. The fair blonde and the wild looking ape.

vogue & W are two different magazines...W is mostly distributed to people in the fashion world...although anyone can buy or subscribe to it...it is unlike a fashion magazine that you find on the rack...you won't find a million ads for products in W...articles on the designers...what's happening on the runway...etc

Yeah, I didn't see it as racist.

Undertones? Uh... well if you wanna look into it that deep I guess you could see it.

Now, why was Lebron screaming for the cover photo? I dunno and don't really care.

 Okay I see the similarities & yes a point could be made that it does look somewhat racist especially when you look at it next to the King Kong poster :!: But on CCLoop alot of the posters who are all black are commenting on LeBron's look as "ape like" too just like other races have done to us & that's wrong.

Honestly, there is a reason why they choose LeBron to be in the pose of "animal roar". I'm not quite sure why they chose it seeing as how he's a basket ball player, not a football player or anything extremely brutal.

I wonder if LeBron had any say in that photo?

Must be something about it cause a lot of people sure don't like it.

well he is '6-8" and 240-250 lbs...so he's quite a bit larger and more "intimidating" than the average male cover model.......also remember that he is a professional athlete as opposed to a singer or an actor so the aggressive imagery makes more sense....

now...if Will Smith, Blair Underwood, Denzel etc. were on the cover with Gisele and they were growling like that....than we could talk racism

Come to think of it,I wished he looked more dignified instead of animalistic.

hm.. why did he have to have a basketball? why not just have Gisele cradled in his arms..?

or heck, thrown over his shoulder?

hell, you might as well go all the way...

LeBron can show his bod but in a flirtatious way like George Clooney.

I'm with you on this one.

You can see the savage racial stereotype from outer space..

If Lebron were a wm he'd be wearing some boxers or a tux..and he sure as hell wouldn't be grimacing like some kind of animal..

Fvck the INSECURE cocksuker that ok'd that shitty cover

Yeah, I read the front cover.

I just think that you are all seeing what you want to see...perhaps they should have put a wm sports figure on the cover...hockey player...football player...soccer player...
vogue chose lebron for the cover...trust me that they had at least 30 choices for the cover...big move to put a bm/ww combo on the front cover...instead of celebrating...you all have decided that lebron looks like king kong...i happen to think that lebron is HOT and never have i looked at him and thought he looked like a monkey....now that you have all ruined it for me...thank-you!

As much as this pains me...malikom is dead-on! I thought Vogue was supposed to be about fashion and forward thinking as far as trends are concerned. Lebron looks like he's posing for SLAM magazine.

But lets not blame this one on the "white man!" Lebron chose to pose like this for this magazine.
    Sigh...the judgement of a 22-year old...

And whoever's controlling his marketing and imaging needs to be fired for not telling him this is not a good look for him. Afterall, that's the reason he has these people on the payroll.
