Black athletes continue to be charged immediately for rape, while white athletes get a pass.

Is it rape if the victim is a hooker? (It depends on the circumstances) It is statutory rape at a minimum. The victim was 16 years old.

Ben Roethslisberger should be in jail. He is a serial rapist. Two different women in 2 different states. This is a federal offense. Shouldn't the FBI be involved? He is Famous + Rich + White! I don't care if he won two superbowls. Michael Vick got the Feds up his @#$!! Crimes against women are worse than crimes against dogs.

I read this article. It is clear that Mr. Taylor not only participated in illegal prositituion and had sex with a 16 year old but he allegedly raped her. I don't know how much worse that can get.

Minimum is not statutory rape but statuory rape and paying for sex. He paid the girl $300 dollars.

Michael vick is a monster. He torched and killed so many dogs. Compared to what Micheal did, Ben is a saint. Yes, rape is awful but to be tortured and/or killed is much worser. If the dogs were human, he would be on death row by now.

Wow, you read one article and you find a man's guilt "clear"?

    You believe everything you're told...just like a house-negro.

You would have been a damn good slave...to bad you were born a couple centuries too late.

Michael Vick shouldn't have seen a day in prison.

Taylor, a 51-year-old former New York Giants star who has faced drug and tax-evasion charges in the past, paid the girl $300 for sex in a Holiday Inn, where he was arrested early yesterday, said Christopher St. Lawrence, supervisor of the town of Ramapo, N.Y.

The guy is not a saint. I mean the job of a defense lawyer is to defend the client. That lawyer will be bias for his client.

Torturing and killing women is WORSE than killing them. Like I said. If the dogs had been human, he would have been on death row.

Yeah, and the cops will be biased against him. Why trust one side over the other?

Yeah, but if you treated a Woman the way the Dog Whisperer treats dogs, you'd be on death row too.

You're generally not supposed to treat Women like dogs, regardless of how well you treat dogs.

I am *all* for punishing those that hurt non human animals, but yeah, a rapist is worse than a dog-beater.

And, btw, take it from a Woman: rape is torture. You don't really need to make a distinction between the two.

You believe that I believe everything I'm told. That's your opinion. Clearly wrong! You don't know me. Oh If i were born a couple centuries earlier, I would be fighting Napoleon Bonaparte for my freedom and not in slavery. Even the so called house-negro poisoned the slave master.Thank god for Toussaint L'Ouverture.

Again, I was not saying they are equivalent. Michael did not rape a woman. IF HE DID, I would still say he should be in prison. This isn't a case of which is worse but of does the sentence of torturing and killing dogs fit. He did not rape a woman so that is of irrelevance to the case. If he did rape a woman, his sentence should be even longer. I am pointing out that you are not to torture and kill and have a short sentence. You are not to rape either. That is why I made a reply with the previous response.

Again, I am not disagreeing with you. I am saying that the sentence micheal got was not fair. I don't see much disagreement on this case but a lot of switching to a topic about something Micheal did not do.Even if he did rape a a woman, I'd still say he should be in prison. I am glad to see that all of you are for football players who rape women getting a lengthy sentence.

You said that someone who raped multiple women is a saint compared to a Man who tortured and killed dogs.

Much as I loathe violence to animals, it is not "much worser" than raping women.

I did not say that someone who raped multiple women is a saint compared to a Man who tortured and killed dogs. Ben was not convicted of multiple rapes that I know of. He is or was, however, on trial for it. If he is convicted of it then I will agree. The accuser gives an affidavit that supports Ben.

There are also several employees that state that she didn't. The second case I am not sure of.

On April 12, 2010, district attorney Fred Bright held a press conference to announce that Roethlisberger would not be charged. Bright said "looking at all the evidence here, we don’t even have ***********002bb8]probable cause. Probable cause is the standard to make an arrest, and we did not have [it]."***********002bb8][95] Furthermore, the victim wrote to the D.A. through her lawyer expressing she no longer wanted to pursue criminal charges***********002bb8][97] because the level of media attention would make a criminal trial too "intrusive" of a personal experience. The letter stressed that she was not recanting her accusation

That is about the second case.

The problem I have with Lawrence taylor is that he has a record and he, according to some sources, paid her. Why would you pay a hooker?

I'm not certain Ben committed the rapes, and more than I'm convinced that Taylor committed rape. So far, there is equal evidence against both -- neither has been convicted.

But your words are very clear:

"Compared to what Micheal did, Ben is a saint. Yes, rape is awful but to be tortured and/or killed is much worser."

That's not a declaration of Ben's innocence. It's a suggestion that harming animals is "worser" than raping Women.

Now it is subjective. I thought the guy was not convicted compared to Micheal vick(who was convicted). From what I have read, he wasn't. I understand what you mean if I look at it as if Ben was guilty(even though he was not found to be guilty). I should have just corrected Black dragon and said he is not a convicted serial rapist. Sorry about that. If you do look at it from my point of Ben not being found guilty, You can see why I said the guy is better. If he did do it, then he is not.
