Does the fact that Lance Armstrong is just giving up the fight and allowing the governing body of US Athletics to strip him of his 7 tour de France title:

Does it mean he is admitting he is a dirty cheater or does it make him a Victim and Martyr to relentless and ugly campaign to the ppl who hate his success and wanted to destroy him?

I don't think he should give up......unless he's dirty. So it makes you think. Why lose your place in history?

The man has plenty of will power, why would he not have any tenacity to fight the allegations if he was innocent. Not saying he is guilty, but he owes it to himself, family, and his fans to fight the accusations if they are false. Martyr? No, there is no cause or purpose for the sake of allowing people to taint his name and achievements.

Very much agree w Beasty. If the man is not guilty of using performance enhancers, then why give up the fight? I cannot relate to the stresses of continuously fighting an uphill battle but I can empathize how tiring it must become. He says he's made himself available anytime to take misc tests and has passed them all, so I feel for the guy. I'm sure if he's innocent, he is concerned about his image, and especially being stripped of his titles.

    Unfortunate.
