Krudd - "Sorry" but no compensation

    Since there are a few of you on here who (refreshingly) are aware of what's happening all the way down here - I thought I'd ask your lovely selves about your opinions on this.

    I think I'm in a "can't see the forest for the trees" situation on this one, and wonder what others think.

    I think he's right not to offer compensation - it's a rabbit burrow we don't want to go down. besides, it would probably send the government broke! :) I think maybe he can acknowledge and apologise on behalf of previous government policy...
    But I still think it's all way too political, and just doing what is popular at the moment.

    Hmm - I don't know. It's a tricky one.
    I think he should apologise if the Aboriginal community is no better off at the end of his first term...that would be something to be genuinely sorry about.
