When the Eagle County DA's office wasted millions of tax payer dollars to bring in Dr. Michael Baden (from HBO's autopsy series) as an expert witness during the preparation for the trial, he told them that they had no business bringing charges based on the evidence that was presented to him and that he would testify to that effect.

It was always "he said, she said," and I don't believe for one second that Kobe had to force himself on some piece of trash who had semen from multiple other men on her person at the time.

This ain't a Cosby situation. Kobe was widely demonized at the time, and people were ready to believe that he did this before the charges were dropped. If Kobe were some sort of predator, it would have been safe for his other victims to come out years ago.

The morale of this story is not to stick your dick in every piece of strange that makes eyes at you just because you're a famous brother.

It wasn't multiple men... I recall it was one other man's semen detected after the rape and he was her boyfriend.

You can call her a skank, but sexual assault isn't about having perfect victims. Evidence showed she bled significantly from her anus....He said she consented to the sex.

You can insist you know he never raped her, but how much do you know about Kobe? About NBA players who are treated like they are beyond mortals? She was demonized AND outed..many of Kobe's fans villified her.

He didn't settle because of the headlines, he did it to avoid going to criminal trial.
