And their source? Kris Jenner in an INTERVIEW (every blog outlet picked up on it when US Weekly repeated the HR's excerpt). Question is, how does Kris come to that amount? Is it the value of product earned for the companies they endorse, or the Kardashian's take home-pay? The truth probably lies in less than half that. Think about how hard it is to earn 65 million dollars in 12 months. I mean they are celebrity but they 'aint Oprah.

Ha, their basic "The Kardashians" show has climbed up to about 4 million viewers per episode. Which is amazing for a cable channel like E! That's not even including the millions of viewers who watch their other shows.


Kris(the mom), doesn't have to pay a ton of money for actors, she doesn't have to pay money for writers, she doesn't have to pay money for a set.
All they really have to pay for is a few cheap cameraman, the shows are literally almost straight profit for the Kardashians.

(This is why you see so many reality shows popping up these days, they're easy and cheap to produce. Think about it.)


Plus you know how in tabloids you always seem them in clubs, parties, and events? Well they get paid good money to attend these places, not to mention the money they get for even being on the cover of all those tabloids.
Add that to all the endorsements, products, modeling, and clothine lines they have it's not hard to believe they made 65 million last year.

Like I've said before, these girls get paid almost every time they step out of the house. It's hard for them to do something without making money off of it.

I agree with you and is my exact point, that income, which is viewed as a barometer for success in this country, is inflated because it raises your market value to sponsors, investors, viewers and the like.
