What would we gain by keeping him in jail? Nothing. I still want his ass locked back up.

My friend called me last night and told me about how quickly the weather changed out there. I couldn't believe that shit.

Yep I was shocked when I looked out the window Saturday morning. It was gorgeous weather on Friday and I wouldn't have believed the temp could drop that much in such a short time. Though we can have major changes in weather here without notice. SMH

No way,let him rot in jail until he dies. He would not say who gave the order to kill Malcolm X and I hope that man will not serve his freedom soon.

That's normal for the Midwest. I remember, two years ago, in January, it was 71 here in St. Louis at noon. Then a couple of minutes later, a front moved through with thunderstorms. By 1 PM, it was 29 degrees with whiteout conditions. Now THAT's crazy.

That happens here a couple times a year. I've seen the temp drop 40 degrees in a few hours, usually during tornado season. California is starting to look really good...

Yeah if you don't mind the occasional earthquake lol

Everywhere has something I suppose. My biggest clients are in LA and it's funny that earthquakes don't bother them, but tornadoes scare them stupid. I'm the opposite, tornadoes are commonplace to me, but earthquakes seem a bit daunting. I guess it's a matter of what you get used to?

New york is actually weather neutral. Nothing too crazy happens here

You have the reverse of here, the weather is neutral and the people are crazy, LOL. You're excluded from that assessment babe.

If you can handle a tornado, an earthquake ain't shit.

Besides, the earthquakes out here are weak for the most part. Not to mention, they rarely happen. (Once a year, 10-15 seconds lasting, low magnitudes)

Supposedly, we are due for a "Big One" but they've been talking about that for a very long time.

Like I said, the earthquakes out here ain't shit.

It's the cost of living that should concern one when moving to CA.

    LOL!

Thanks for the info LA. I think we have about 4 or 5 legitimate tornado warnings here each year, I say legitimate because we have an inordinate number of amateur tornado spotters, and if the clouds move at all during tornado season Joe Bob Farmer will be on his cell to the local weatherman immediately. But there haven't been any actual touchdowns near me since 1999 when we had 5 or 6 in a couple hours. The only thing that concerns me here is that the houses don't have basements or cellars, and I'm used to that option, and so we're stuck using the storage closet under the stairs, which is less enjoyable. Yet somehow I think that's still preferable to having the whole house shake.

The whole house isn't shaking. Not even close.

You barely feel anything. Anything at all.

I've only felt one in my entire life. It was so soft.

I actually laughed when I realized what it was.

Really, I watch too many movies, I have this image of the house shaking and lots of broken stuff. I'd probably be more pissed about the damage than scared of the earthquake itself.

If that happens, it's on some Haiti/Cuba tragic shit.

Yes, you have been watching too many movies. :)

Your belongings will be 100% intact unless it's a 7-8 magnitude and if its ever that strong its going to make national headlines.

There's only been one quake like that since I lived here (94') and I wasn't anywhere near the epicenter of it so it didn't affect me much at all. Nothing broke.
