Damn is this the Democratic Convention or the BET Awards. If L'il Wayne gets on the bill I'm voting McCain.

They are doing it because of the Youth that will be there. Alot of young people are going.

Nothing wrong with Urban Music, you got a problem with it? You ashamed of being Black my brotha?

Just what would you have at this event? Andre Crouch?

It's a political rally for the Democratic nominee, not Rock The Bells. Let's have some dignity. Oh my bad, outdated concept.

Fuck do you care anyway, won't you be out of the country banging some European chick?

Its a party convention not the source awards. This shows me that youth vote is not educated on the issues and are doing the same thing as Bush voters in 2000 and 2004.
Look at our urban centers and see how the "left" have failed us.

Actually NO, not until umm March/April... and I'll be there at least 60 days.

All I was sayin homie is, there is nothing wrong with having Urban Artist at the Convention. We are already holding Obama accountable and we'll have a voice in Denver, not to worry the job of making sure he doesn't do something stupid once in office will be taken care of and we'll watch him like a HAWK.

The Roar will get even louder once these McSain "Town Halls" get started, he's in for an ass whoopin.

It's a question of appropriateness. A word that isn't in the vocabulary of anyone under 30.

It would be a good idea if Democrats, particularly Obama, steers clear from the hip-hop music scene. Since all hip-hop does these days is promote hate. This is one advantage McCain has. Obama was already grilled for playing a Jay-Z song at one of his rallies.

It's like if you're a Buppie trying to get a promotion and impress the boss, all of a sudden your rowdy ghetto cousins who can't stay out of jail and their 500 lb mama shows up.

the democratic convention here in denver should be interesting...the protesters are already setting up camp...the city is sweeping the homeless off the streets for the week of the convention...they will all be busy going to the zoo, museum of natural history, botanic gardens etc...our mayor is sending them on field trips and setting them up in make shift overnight facilities to keep them off the streets of denver...obama will not be giving his acceptance speech at the pepsi center like originally planned but instead at one of the outdoor stadiums so that more people can attend the event...this will truly be a historic event for the city of denver...they are pulling out all the stops...our economy will get a boost with the enormous amount of people that will flood into the city from all over the country...

    haha

Obama is hanging on by a thread in most national polls (within the margin of error) and, more importantly, polls from battleground states.

These guys can put on a show without making fools of themselves; the issue is will young people turn out on election day?

    Hate of what?????

Money sure isn't one of them....

Lovin or Thrown away hoes isn't one of them....

Its too fun... Obama IS the Black Candidate right? But is always trying to remove himself from being "Black". He goes to the Urban League, League of Journalist of Color and the NAACP and that's not considered "Black"???

He tried to dis-owne a Ludcris song as well, I don't know its almost too funny.

As long as RACE is an issue in this country and millions of Caucasians are not willing to CONFRONT it. He'll have to seem "more like them" and less like "us".

In the End we won't disown Obama as quickly as White America does and that is the BOTTOM LINE, which attention spans 10 second long...
