KSU senior Clent Stewart pulled an Ian Johnson the other night.

Before his last home game at Kansas State last night, guard Clent Stewart was recognized as a graduating senior and thanked the fans and coaches. He then got down on one knee proposed to his girlfriend:

    Kansas, huh?

Shit, he better take a tip from that Idaho State bro, what's his name, who proposed to his girlfriend and got so much hate mail and phone calls.

seeing stuff like that makes me happy..

it shows how far we've come from Jim Crow Era asshattery...such as "if you look at a white woman, you will be punished."

now chocolate brothas, that leave no question about whether or not they're "black," are snatching white girls and rubbing it into "The Man's" face, by proposing to her, infront of EVERYONE

    classic...

Jack Johnson, in today's terms, was a real OG.

Man, that muhfucka didn't have no fear or give a fuck. He always did his thang no matter what JimBob thought.

That's one black man we have to respect, regardless of your opinions of him.

    you aint lyin

    lol

I don't think i would have had the brass to do what he did..
i encountered racism growing up when I was younger..but nothing on the scale and magnitude of what was going around in the early 20th century..

let alone go with white girls, throughout those times

dude was from Galveston, TX...born in 1878....can u imagine the racism he saw....and the lynchings....he probably had more reason than most..NOT to want to go IR....if you ever see a gorgeous WW and you aren't sure if you want to approach...think about Jack Johnson....if you don't talk to the girl....a brotha like Jack will 8)
