Slavery played a huge role in the economy..don't ever let people downplay what our ancestors did

 

I've heard this over the years, with other bizarre stories of modern enslavement of African Americans, African Ameticans still "share cropping," and slave owner decendants still employing the decendants of original slave laborers.
