Joss Stone & Nelly Are Dating

Joss Stone is reportedly dating Nelly.

The British soul singer has been on several secret dates with the 33-year-old US rap star - who is 12 years her senior - and is said to be smitten with him.

A source revealed: "Joss and Nelly have been out on a few dates. It's early days but Joss is really happy. It's great that she has met someone as successful as she is and who understands the pressures of being a performer."

Joss, 21, is also reducing her hectic work schedule this year so she can have more time for herself, and spend more time with 'Work It' rapper Nelly.

The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Her life has been like a whirlwind since she shot to fame at 14. Joss is determined to devote more time to herself, and if a little romance enters her life along the way who can blame her."

Joss hasn't had a serious relationship since splitting from her long-term love Beau Dozier - the son of Motown songwriter-and-producer Lamont - in 2005.

Earlier this year, the 'You Had Me' singer insisted she hated men, because they were incapable of treating her well.

She said: "I've had kind of bad luck with boys, they just don't tend to be too kind to me. I don't know why, maybe it's something I do?"

Last year, Joss joked her luck with men was so bad she was considering becoming a lesbian.

The music star - who recently performed at a Hollywood awards ceremony for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation - quipped: "Every girl my age wants to be in a relationship, but I haven't had one for two years. I think I'll have to turn lesbian!"

Joss Stone is the real deal the heiress to Lady T whom has soul and going with brothers. Amy Winehouse on the other hand is drugged out skank who claims to sing soul. She is only a pop artist.

Nelly, the same guy who allowed his sister to stop him from posing suggestively with that Australian female singer for a magazine a few years back because she said he would "alienate" his black female fans, isn't man enough to date a white girl like Joss Stone. He probably needs a black chick to tell him what to do and who to date.

I gotta agree with Jamal on this one. I just see Nelly going there with Joss, or any white girl for that matter, and risk alienating most of his black female fanbase. Especially with him about to comeback with a new album, the last thing he needs is some "scandal" about getting his swirl on with a pretty white female. Blog sites like hater site would have him declared a sellout punk so fast, you'd think he was Cuba Gooding Jr. or somebody. Especially since he's already in a high profile relationship with Ashanti. For him to dump his black singer girlfriend for a younger, white singer would basically be career suicide for him, at least musically.

Besides, that whole thing with Irv supposedly happened before Ashanti hooked up with Nelly. So he wouldn't get any sympathy from fans.

 

I don't think sympathy is what he's looking for here plus from what I heard Ashanti & Gotti only recently REALLY stopping screwing around. :shock:

Also it might simply be that they were trying to keep it on the low so that it wouldn't get out and so far no one from either camp has come out big & said that it's not true>>>NOT YET ANYWAY.
