Joss Stone Fires Mgr Mom for Sleeping with Her Drummer

I just read about this. Not only is Joss a 'chocoholic'...but, her mom is also. The article below goes on to state that her mom subsequently married her drummer.

Wow, why talk so much shit on your mother? I kind of liked Joss Stone but now I can't help but think race had something to do with firing her mom. That's kind of harsh treatment for your mother. I'm glad they got married despite of Joss' unapproval. She also states that she feels like she is her mother's mom now. Why would you say something that disrespectful about your mom in an interview the whole world can see :?:

 

I don't get that one bit. A person who makes love songs should understand love happens many ways you know?..........Don't get that one at all.

 

It could of been about race, because joss stone is one of those girls where she dates black, but ALL of her celebrity crushes are white, (Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Jared Leto.) Her doing that just makes it look more and more like a phase she is going through with being with black men.

 

What a sad state of affairs. I wonder if her mother has a thing for black men?

 

She was right to fire her mom. Her mother isn't conducting business in the correct manner when she is sleeping around with one her daughter's bandmates. She isn't disowning her mother based upon the report but she is doing the adult thing by removing her as her manager. It would have probably happened eventually. Sleeping with the drummer was likely the thing that forced her hand. To accuse Joss as being some sort of racist is a bit absurd IMO. Are some of you so happy to see any black man and white woman sleeping with one another that you would justify any type of behaviour? If the mom really loves that dude and vice versa then good for them. But mom is clearly not capable of being a true professional.

 

Me I don't justify any bm&ww pairing, but Iam a believer in love comin in many ways. Im not really calling her a racist it si just when some things don't help the situation it can boggle the mind into what you are trying to figure out what is going on. To me she is in a phase with bm with her crushes being all white (To me if your into something it shows up every aspect of attraction.) and then she fire her mom for dating her drummer(who happens to be black.) I tie things together like alot of people do when they are trying to figure out something and I was just interconnecting events to see what goes where before I make a judgement, so for now it is what I said it was "I think."

 

I can't believe what I'm reading in this thread about Joss Stone being racist. WTF!!!??? All her men have been Black. She's only 21 yrs old. She prolly never wanted her mom to be her mgr anyway, and this just gave her an excuse to fire her. Joss doesn't like mgrs -- she manages herself now.

Im starting to see that maybe it was something else now with her mother and all that, but me (speaking for myself.) I don't think she is racist, it just seems she is more going through a phase with bm than rather being INTO black men, because I seen it before.

 

Fine. That still doesn't justify jumping to conclusions and suggesting the race of her mom's lover was the reason why she fired her mom.

She told him that this is the real deal.
But that is the same thing she said about lamont dozier....see this is one of the reasons why I say maybe she is in a phase....either that or she falls in love too hard :lol:
