Lets take this even further. Chances are VERY high this guy was molested himself. Have to wonder who his perp was.

Huckabee wrote in a Facebook post. "He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities. No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story."

Such bullshit! They "dealt with it" in the ways that would prove most beneficial for them, at the time.

A friend wrote on her FB page the following, which sums up my feelings.

The Duggars are opposed to same sex marriage and abortion but don't care so much about forcible child molestation with multiple victims under 5. I wonder what Jesus is telling them to do.

If it's the conservative American Jesus, he's telling them to rail against gay marriage even harder. Oh, and cut taxes because Jesus apparently really hated taxes for some reason.

And as for who was most likely to have molested Josh Duggar . . . I suggest the family freind and Arkansas State Trooper who they contacted to quash the investigation becuase he is current;y doing 57 years in state prison for child pornography possesion.

You cannot make this stuff up . . . damn sure good to be white in the American criminal justice system isn't it??? Who knows what else may have been uncovered if an exhaustive and diligent investigation were conducted in 2006 or even 2004?

 

You had to know within five minutes of learning about this family that something was probably wrong with them. They just always struck me as strange (real talk). So this guy and his family made millions over the last several years with backdoor donations and secret FOX news Republican deals via the Family Research Council?? 14 is more than old enough to know right from wrong isn't it?? Maybe if he had a normal adolescent love life he wouldn't be finger fucking females in his family??? :smt017

After reading about the programs they have been involved with, the organizations that Josh worked for, and some of the materials from the various programs and organizations, claims about some of the religious leaders (let alone the trooper they went to who's in prison for child porn) it really seems to be all around them. But come on, it's a culture of claiming it's all due to a girls lack of modesty and on and on. I notice the link I posted with the copies of some of the materials is no longer working. Blame the victim

It's sad to see women of all ages being blamed for sexual transgressions against them

I agree with the women activists who are tired of women being blamed for being raped or molested, because they look or dress a certain way

 

Honey Boo Boo's Mom threatened TLC with a lawsuit. Now since the show is dropped I wondered what is the reaction to the selfies the GOP candidates did with Josh Duggar?

 

This is straight-up victim blaming, no question. And some of the "advice" is ridiculous. Not letting boys change diapers? Praying for protection from pornography? The Onion couldn't do a better job if they tried.
