Some girls (dont confuse them with women) want a man they can "save". There's really no other explanation that I know of.

 

Less than 20 minutes ago I just said I hate stupid people.

 

This idiot doesn't need saving. He needs psychotherapy, electro-shock and medication, along with, if guilty, permanent imprisonment.

 

I completely agree love...I was simply offering an explanation as to why he's able to snag a girl from inside.

 

His story is no different from others. There are personal ad for inmates of both sexes for people to respond to. For the inmates, it gives them someone to communicate with on the outside. It gives them something to look forward to when they are released. Many people have married in jail and are given conjugal visits. For the people who respond to the ads, they are, in essence, trying to help the inmate get on their feet mentally and emotionally. For women who respond the inmates don't care about race, age or weight. They just don't want to be alone. A couple of inmates showed me pictures of their wives. I even saw an inmate holding hands with his girlfriend. The fact that Joran van der Sloot is engaged to someone on the outside is no surprise to me. Perhaps he is running a scheme.
