job hunting advice

    in this thread post any subject and link an answer to it or ask a question and hopefully someone will give you a good answer.

    also just give random advice or articles that will help get you a job.

    2) job application:
    How should you answer 'May you contact your employer' if you don't want your employer knowing you are looking for a job?

    here in Huntsville the jobclub I belong to is just as it sounds believe it or not. they meet in a church having weekly meetings in regards to job hunting techniques and other issues you will never think of. they network among each other. they have an email distrubution list so when people hear of job openings they will send it to the church person who is head of the job club and he will send it out to the members. the job openings usually come in form of website addresses so you can apply rite there at home on the computer

    when someone gets hired they will let us now to give congrats and they will pay it forward by letting us know when a job opens in the company they wortk for.

    it doesnt matter what kind of job....it could be from job openings from janitor to CEO, engineer to sales clerk , fulltime or parttime.
