I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you but in my estimation, that is more so true with biracial males as opposed to biracial females. And the reason is that biracial females, especially when their mothers are white, try their darnest to relate to their mothers but fail because despite what they want, America does not see them as white but black so they tend to accept it anyways and at the same time, see things from their mothers' point of view, including sexual attraction.

With biracial males, it is somewhat similar in that they are seen as black but in my general view, they have a much harder time coming to terms with their "identity" than biracial females and tend to want to identify more with their "white" side (see James Blake, Derek Jeter, Vin Diesel etc). Very few biracial males, at least that i've seen, date black women. With biracial females, especially the ones who grow up in diverse neighborhoods, it's a different ball game.

Sophie Okenedo was in a relationship with an irish film editor whom she has a child with as well and has dated two other white guys I've seen her with.


I never said all biracial females are proned to white guys. The amount is most in reality especially among famous stars. There are still famous biracial women out there that are more wm friendly I've still haven't named such as:

Vanity got used up and drugged out by white rockers, once her looks were on the decline and she developed health problems,all that ended. Shortly afterward she found religion and married a BM.

 

I think that one big reason famous biracial men are often seen with ww is because light skinned-brothers have gone out of style in the black community. When the sistas say they want a man who's tall, dark and handsome they aren't just talking about hair color. They mean that shit. The blacker the beast, the more filling the feast. And if they want a light skinned man, they'll get a white guy or a light brown Latino. Wesley Snipes came on the scene in the early 90s and put those high yellow pretty boys out of business (at least in the hood).

For example, Derek Jeter, a guy who's made many white girl "sexiest man alive" lists is hardly ever mentioned when you ask black women who the hottest men are. I even know some bw who don't think he's attractive. And here he is, the highest profile player on the New York Yankees, for heaven's sake! If anything, more bw are upset with Tiki Barber of the New York football Giants (a bald-head brown skin bull) being married to an Asian than Derek Jeter romancing Jessica Biel. About the only light skin, biracial brother that bw swoon over nowadays is Lenny Kravitz.

I also agree with LaydeezmanCris when he said that many famous white women will get with a biracial brother because it's easier. They can always say, "He's part white (or some other ethnicity)." I don't think many of these famous white starlets would openly date a big, black, Shaquille O'Neal-looking nigga. But I bet they'd give him some behind closed doors, though.

It was at one of those red carpet events on t.v. I saw them. Can't find him on the internet....maybe cause he probably aint a celeb.

 

As far as Jeter and some other light skinned bros that are famous are concerned, black women see that they aren't interested in them much so that's why they don't give them PROPS other than maybe in the looks catagory.

Also as far as the white starlets NOT getting with dark bros, I don't know if I can agree with your theory on that either because bros like Taye Diggs get plenty of WHITE PLAY >>>outside the bedroom too :!: :wink:
