Major blunder...huh As far as the JJ situation, that was some bs. He got off free on that and she got burned. As I remembered he was silent the whole time and never stood by her
And that's why & what the one person was calling him out on. Had he not responded to it at all, no one would have thought anything about his intitial post to Jesse Williams' speech.
I have to go back and look but I think they jumped on him with his initial post. If they did then they were wrong and he responded badly with the "you poor souls" thing
As far as TDK and light skinned issues again that's more black than whites. Heck don't forget str8 out of Compton was looking for light skinned bw
Now we discussed the light skinned issue (something we had no business discussing anyway) and the fact he put himself out there. It seems you are ok with whites appropriating our culture and the bm here aren't and the reasons for it. So how was he demonizing whites? Then you and I will talk about him pandering to be. you do know your cooning is on full blast, right?
I don't follow either. I'm waiting on how its logical. At least TDK is reading and discovering but he's no fool. I respect that.
Yes, there were people going at him from his initial post because they were already looking at him through a critical lenses as an "appropriator". Smartest thing he could have done was just let them talk shit and make themselves look petty for going at him for that first post. Responding, especially the way that he did, only gave them the ammo they already believed they had to light him up even more.
Or I just have different information and actually listen to other people who don't live my world view. So what about light skin people who actually agree with the position that they have privilege because of their light skin?

Goodlove gave his opinion and I gave mine. You wanna make it even and give your opinion about my position on the subject go right ahead.
Colorism has been and still is mainly a problem WITHIN the Black community. Trying to equate this to White privilege, when NONE of these light skinned Black women have the option NOT to be Black, again, is nonsense. Look at the top Black women on network TV. But why do that, it would blow your light skinned privilege argument out of the water. The Black community's preference for lighter skin overshadows anything being perpetrated by WHite supremacy and their take on colorism. But you keep feeling sorry for yourself TDK imagining that a lighter skinned Black person has an easier time in the world than you do.:smt022
