You make a great point. I'm with you. This use them and lose them approach is an awful way to treat people. No good can come from it.

Wow! I never looked at it that way. Very good point, AA. Jobs (and specifically, jobs with benefits) in this country are becoming scarcer and scarcer and businesses that run like this don't help that.

I'd still be here, as often as I can to comment on threads like these when I see them.

Not trying to demoralize what he's done, but this business is basically setup like a Chinese sweatshop. Have you realized this and is this what you're applauding? Or did you and the others not really read and correctly understand what's being addressed?

It may not be about the economy, there should be tons of openings with companies in the Tech sector. IMO, I think it's more about the fact that he owns the company and is trying to maximize wealth. He wants to be rich and have access to the American Dream. Everyone wants this, and he manages to get there at the expense of having the company employees work in third-world conditions.

Read critically people, the article implies that his company will be a global enterprise of contracted employees. Contracted means that they only work for a temporary period of time, basically 4 months to a year. They aren't working permanently. Most of the profits are going towards his business and himself, the employees aren't getting much. If he really wants his business to have long term stability, he needs to improve work conditions for his employees. Otherwise, his business would end up facing issues or it would relocate out of the US and go to China.
