I'm guessing at least in the college towns. My cousin goes to school in Florida, and he says the IR is heavy out there. Hell white girls listen to gucci n' all that other shit, and like the fuck with black dudes. And the Florida college chicks are DELICIOUS! Good lord!!!

Since when is also what I want to know. What part of FL have you been to? I can say you do see it here but I am damn sure it isn't so popular that it would be the interracial capital of the east cost. We got MANY small towns that are still stuck in the early 1900's. And even in the bigger cities we have people who still have the same mindset as those small towns.

Now, going to the coastlines during spring-break you may see many IR couples but I doubt they live here. I've met quite a few IR couples during that time and they are rarely from FL. Also, the bigger more devoloped cities (such as Miami, Orlando, etc.) IR couples are common but they still stand out and there are still many many more small minded people who are very against it. And I'm not talking just BMWW couples either.

My city is still under-development. My HS bus-driver was a white woman married to a mexican man. Do you know they burned a cross in her fornt yard? I mean, it also doesn't help that one of her neighbors is one of those crazy stormfronters. I can only imagine what she would have went through had her husband been black.

 

I can agree with some of the college towns being heavily IR. But it's all about the location. At UM you will see it, but go to the colleges in smaller cities and you will rarely see it.

The bolded part: Many white girls here do that. But that is it. The local hip-hop radio station did a survey once asking white girls if they would date a black guy. Only about 9% of the girls who answerd said they would. I believe 250(ish) people answered.

 

Not discounting that survey but it's sort of surprising given the mindset of college-aged kids even at a small school. Usually the percentage is way higher than that especially if you ask if they would date interracially or if they are for or against IR dating.:-o

My thoughts on it, I don't think alot of it was truthfully answered as most of the kids around here are very redneck/country or have parents who are that way. Also, if I recall correctly I believe it was done during the HS/Jr High spring break period. Some, if not most of it were kids with nothing better to do.
