It's Complicated

One of my friends on FB had this quote on his status update... "we all know "it's complicated" means you are still having sex with your ex, why advertise that?!".

I don't know I think there is WAY more to this status than that LOL

 

LoL! I guess that's one way to look at it.

 

Wow, I never assumed that's what it meant.

 

Me either. I took it to mean in an on again/off again situation.

 

I always took it to mean "the other person won't commit to an actual relationship and I'm annoyed about it".

 

Neither did I. I am quite off labelling relationships at the moment.

My I guess significant other is the best thing to call him at the present time and I have dailed things down a few notches. Reason being that I feel that he has a LOT of other areas of his life to concentrate on right now, not in a bad way, they are career and family issues. He was trying to get us to work after a long and complex past, and I felt he it too divided in terms of his time right now. I thought it best that we don't set deadlines and have pressure on ourselves. After being together 3 times in the 5 years and having developed love and trust, I want it to do be right and not to push it. We still talk evey day and see each other as often as possible considering we live 100 miles apart.

So hence my relationship status on FB is no longer posted and I have had quite a few comments on it.
