Yah I get that, but it's not like we post every news story on here. Usually they have some sort of relevance.

I think you guys answered it before when you said it's because the op thought the girl was hot.

    Pretty much.

It's ridiculous that she would float her vid out and not think it wouldn't get out

Yeah, she should expect that the guy she was trying to hurt would strike back in that way. Still, that doesn't make it right at all. Sad story.

This is a human interest story based on the power of SM bullies. This 'boyfriend revenge' story is suspect at most, but assuming it's true, his retaliation was horrible and criminal.

I read she actually shared the video with five friends and one of them betrayed her.

She was mercilessly bullied to the point she moved from her house and city, she legally changed her name and sued Google for the right to be forgotten and was forced to cough up $22,000 for law expenses.
She was lampooned nationally by two top Italian soccer players, t-shirts and caps were emblazoned with her specific comment in the video, she was accosted in the street, and developed depression as a result.

That's pathetic. People don't know when to stop. She was treated like a child killer. All these people talked gossip, but watched her video.
    42 million times.
That woman was driven to take her life from relentless bullies and l hope they are happy now.

Heartbreaking. She literally did everything she could to make this go away but that most likely just fueled her bullies further. My daughter joined a club at school this year to welcome and mentor the 6th graders coming into middle school and a big piece of what they do is train on how to identify even passive bullying. Sad that bullying is so prevalent even at such a young age but I think it's great that it's being addressed and taken more seriously nowadays. No one should ever be subjected to what that woman dealt with before taking her own life.

I think that's great. Great for the mentor too.

In my day, you could just go home. Today's bullies follow into your home. The SM power to spread vile and hate is too easy and young minds in particular are not developed enough to deal with that kind of emotional stress. What happens to them becomes their whole world. I hate bullying with a passion.

Terrible tragedy. The woman definitely did everything she could.

It's disgusting what people do nowadays.

However, when I read she sent a sex video to 5 of her friends, I couldn't help but ask why. Why would someone send a sex video of yourself to five friends?

That part of the story just makes no sense to me.

RIP to the woman, though. Bullying is horrible and a pandemic, thanks to social media.

Back in the mid-90's, youth suicides caused by bullying were a national problem in Japan. This is due in part to the educational system there, which is pretty strict.

Bullying is an insecure and calculated attempt at gaining power over someone.

I agree. It's bizzare. Unless she meant it for one and the dreaded accidental c.c occured and they got a copy too?

    Perfect descript of bullying.

Japan holds and continued to hold the #1 male suicide rate in the world. Its not bullying but work pressure they feel.

I suppose that's possible, but really, why does anyone send stuff like that to anyone else?

It makes zero sense to me.

A majority of the suicides were young males between the ages of 14 and 16. The victims were bullied into giving away items like computers, CD players, video games and etc.

Rather than face the shame of telling their parents(whom have very high expectations of them) they choose to hang themselves. Suicides by hanging is the preferred method.

Ditto. Trust no one lol. If things go sour, as happens in most relationships at some point, people can be really quick to seek revenge. So sad that someone who was once important in this womans life, felt entitled to embarrass her like they did, ultimately resulting in her death. Theyll have to live with that forever.
