Is your online personality the same as your real life one?

It would be hard for me to be fake, so yeah, it's really me, lol....I'm honest, direct, and hugely patient, except with ignorance of the type that tries to hurt people. I do this a lot, both online and in person.

For the most part, yes, I am the same. I don't think my sense of humor comes through online but I think I am pretty much the same otherwise. I like to believe that I don't come off as unapproachable but, at the same time, I'm sure that many may think that I am not, shall we say, "light" and they would be right. I am somewhat intense and I'm sure that comes out in my words. But, if you really wanna know...drop me a line.

I'm totally opposite. Offline, I'm probably the quietest, most abnormally shy, and reserved person anyone could ever possibly know. On here, I just ramble and babble on, and on, and on, and on, and on. I'm sure whoever reads my posts is just wondering, "God, when is she going to shutup or get to a point??", if they even have the stamina to finish reading it/read most of it. But I gotta make up for it (my not talking while offline) somehow, right? And I don't talk about sex at all, except with my man, unless it's with my very close girl friends and, even then, it's rather limited and I'm more private. Most of the time, after I read a reply/post I just made, I'll re-read it wondering, "What the hell were you thinking?! Jesus Christ!! Show some restraint!!!" type of thing and feel incredibly embarrassed and stupid. I'm extremely surprised I have not been singled out by a certain someone, he seems to like to pick on people like that :smt009. I've been so quiet before that people have actually forgotten I was around/there. Which is kind of fun because I end up startling people a lot if I do open my mouth and say something or make a noise. Offline, when I do speak, I also cuss excessively and my vocabulary is a lot more restricted. But my personality and thoughts are still the same. It's just the matter of actually expressing them and how much.

 

I'm quiet as hell in real life, and don't talk to many people I don't know. I like to keep to myself and not draw attention.

 

I'm the same, I talk about politics, religion, men, sex, family, everything pretty much with anyone who wants to talk. I just like to talk.

Actually, I find it more interesting here, because I can be in about 30 conversation all at once. Now I'm Super Woman!!

 

I'm usually like that, but now I've become more vocal and somewhat impulsive, yet not offensive, in order to improve my interactional skills. I plan on becoming an attorney, so its pretty imperative that I not sink too much into my default introverted, non-verbal mannerisms.

 

I'm quiet in real life to some degree.
I talk a lot around people I know but I can be kinda shy in big groups.
I'm more outgoing than I used to be.

Other than that I'm pretty much the same in views and stuff.

 

I'm more reserved online than I am in real life.

 

I'd like to think that my online personality is somewhat similar to how I present myself in real life. Maybe I'm a little less inhibited online

 

I'm both introverted and extroverted...I either jump in and be the life of the party or, depending on the situation, I can sit back and observe. My cardinal rule is honesty. No matter what the situation being honest is being true to yourself.

 

I jsut tell the truth about myself upfront. im the same way online as I am off. Except on my MMORPG and even then thats only a avatar/character chage differance
