I think that mine is pretty much the same. I probably open up to more people on line about things like sex, but other than that what you see is what you get :)

Yeah. I'm pretty open on things.

I would say that I'm nicer in person, but also prone to sarcasm and generally indifferent to other people's personal lives. I'd be a horrible talk show host.

Yes I've met quite a few people from online and they have said I'm pretty consistent. I tend to write like I talk. I'm a bit more guarded on a public forum such as this than when IMing or something that is more direct though.

The only thing maybe that I've heard is that they expected me to be more serious than I am on the phone or face to face. They didn't think I would laugh as much as I do or have (or be) as much fun as I do.

I think sometimes it's tough to read sarcasm online.

I've often thought you were really funny by some of your responses.

I think I'm nicer and sillier in real life, and I don't talk so much.

I'm quiet and nice in real life.

I'm pretty much the same, except I'm marginally quieter about sex. Sort of. I'm constantly making jokes, to the point where people have often asked me why I don't do stand up, so I'm quite silly. And never quiet; I always have something to talk about.

I've been told I've got a conversational style in how I write online, and I figure it's because I'm a fantastic conversationalist. It's hard not to be, since I never shut the fuck up. ;) All that practice!

Yeah, i'm always honest about my personality, and everything else when talking to somebody online, as to not throw them for a loop if we actually meet. I would hate it if somebody threw me a curveball, so i make it a point not to do it to others.

I won't be satisfied until you laugh at all of my responses.

jolie and Mosk strike me as real sweethearts, and life5577 is more complex than what she lets on.

    complex
    adjective |käm?pleks; k?m?pleks; ?käm?pleks|
1 consisting of many different and connected parts : a complex network of water channels.
    • not easy to analyze or understand; complicated or intricate : a complex personality | the situation is more complex than it appears.

Ok that may be a bit tough to accomplish.

of course women love a man who can make them laugh. Those who can do it with true wit and charm coupled with intelligence....mmmmm.

Did someone call my name?

Hence, using the screen name “Complex.”

Leaving bewildered looks on people is not a fad. It is a fact of life in my complex world.

    Cheers!

I'm pretty much the same online as I am in real-life. I may actually be slightly more conservative on this board than if you knew me off of it.

No. In person I actually consider myself more of a listener and not nearly as much of a "talker." (One of the biggest faults of people in general is that they spend so much time thinking about what they're gonna say, they arent paying attention to whats being said to them and around them.)

Im definitely not a smart-ass in person (like I am on the boards). I dont talk about sex publicly. And its been more than a week since I had a real-life conversation about politics.

But thats one of the greatest benefits of the internet and chatrooms. You can talk about things freely that you wouldnt dare discuss with real life friends and family. You can be display a side of your personality online that may be considered unacceptable for "a mom of two" or "a man in such an important position."

Which is why I think maintaining anonymity is the greatest key to online freedom. It makes people "judge" you based on what you say, instead of how you look, what you do for a living, etc. (I always laugh when someone judges me based on my avatar.)

No disrespect to those here who have, but I will never understand why people post pics of themselves in forums. It just leads to feelings of guilt, embarrassment, and/or regret. (How else would you explain someone deleting old posts from the boards which may have been up for months or years?)

Lets face it...how many places in real life can you talk with people about love for hairy kittys, having your salad tossed, and that wild night in vegas with the brazlian transvesite...oops, I mean supermodel.

Yeah, mine is the same but I would never, ever talk about sex or my marriage.
