The only one's I have noticed in more recent times who have gotten together online were those who met in a nondating/prowling way....and there are very few.

 

I think it's a good idea in some ways.

The problem is though, if the people can choose the same ethnicity/race then is it really going to be any different than any other site? They all have the options to choose racial preferences. You can post all over your profile that you are attracted to whatever traits you are attracted to, that doesn't stop others from contacting you.

I wonder the app prevents those you did not click (on the preferences) from contacting you.

 

I'm assuming the app only matches you with those who specify that they want to match with your ethnicity. I don't see the point of the app otherwise. I actually requested that a feature like this be added to Match back when I was online dating. I wasted so much time...

 

Been saying that for years just add a filter that makes your profile only visible to people you want. If you only like men who are 6'2 and over my short ass should never see your profile. It makes the entire process better for everyone. If we're gonna treat this shit like dating why half step go all the way.

 

yup the whole thing is destroying social interaction. No one can be bothered anymore. It makes monogamy way more attractive. I have no hope for the future of coupling lol

 

They won't do this because then there aren't enough numbers. It's all a bunch of crap. Just like if you put in a few mile radius and they start showing you those from further away. They want to make it look like there are many more matches for you than there really are. It's all about the hype.

The problem is that people get pulled in by larger numbers and hype. So if they are seeing few matches they get discouraged. It's all about perception and playing on the instant gratification stuff...you know that.

 

Through your subscription you have someone else do all the work for you and send email if you need to expand the search. You do nothing I do all the work

 

Many are on there for validation. It's an extension of Instagram and anything that can be substituted for likes and attention.

 

They've been doing that. Most of the girls that have messaged me first just say "Hey " or "Hey there".

Has anyone here had a positive experience with this app yet, or is it basically too new for anyone to have a firm opinion?

 

Yup I'm betting on vr porn and sex robots. It sounds weird but if I were young guy and single I'd see no point in engaging the opposite sex romantically. It's completely stacked in their favor abd usually the headache is never worth the effort. Too many spoiled childish princesses who are trying to live their romantic comedy dreams through your wallet. Yes yes tell me about the super rare women who go Dutch and won't hold a grudge or those who are really mature but are over looked they are so rare they might as well not exist. This is purely an American thing for me btw. I've seen and interacted with far more suitable women else where. We raise are girls all wrong here.
