http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandinavia Iceland and the Faroe Islands are sometimes also included, although this usage is considered incorrect in Scandinavia. I hate to use wikipedia, but in certain things such as geography, the site is usually spot on
Well, Im Scandinavian and we consider Iceland a part of Scandinavia and are taught so in school... Since it is a Scandinavian invention - I tend to go with what Im taught in a Scandinavian School and not what you found on Wikipedia - I have seen that page mor etimes than I care to remember. The reason there is some discrepanices in this is that Iceland for a long time was Danish - not considered its own country of sorts. and faroe Islands isnt condisered an indepent state.
Also i hope to visit some of those countries in the future. I know it would be interesting. Taking in all the culture and sites. Los Angles, Myself, Karmacoma, and SmoothDaddy101. Hmm sounds like a good group to explore the Nordic nations loll
Scandinavian women are beautiful for sure. I met this cute Danish chick when I was overseas in Germany. Needless to say I didn't want to return home to NY
The late Joseph Sarno made movies that stereotype Swedish women is more open. In my many visits in Sweden I have never believed it.
Hope the brothers could come to Scandinavia one day. Save your money however because it is expensive there.
Yes in some countries. Depends on where you live. Because living in Germany or Netherlands, never had any issues at all. More white dutch/german women wanted black males as if its a style. Its more or easily accepted there then in the US. Which is why most Army or Air Force guys wanna be stationed out in Germany. Switzerland it is acceptable and more easy to do so too. Czech republic is mixed reactions though.
Yeah I was at Czech republic, went to Prague and visited Teplice. Prague is a great city, like any other european city, no limit on opening and closing of its clubs. Women are blonde and hot as hell. They can detect a foreigner of course. Reminded me a little bit of Munich. Munich was unbelievable, if there was a place i would suggest someone to go to that would be it. Munich was probably the cleanest city I ever saw. I stayed a week with german girl out there. She was a horrible cook though. Two countries I would never go back to again, Poland and Romania.
Countries I've been to in Europe are Germany, France, Netherlands(shorter than I would like to have spend), and Belgium I thought Germany was the best. Berlin, Koln, and Dortmund was nice, and a couple of the smaller cities in the west were cool also. Unfortunately I didn't visit Munich or Frankfurt. I heard nice things. What would you say was the best country overall and/or the best city overall in Europe you visited? Also why not visit Poland and Romania again? if you don't mind me asking? In another post you said you worked for the Air Force, awhile back. Is that what allowed you travel to these countries, or it was on your own time??
lol all the service members in my family that were stationed in Germany, attest to that and having white girlfriends all the while. I guess the atmosphere is just different you know. You're not thinking about american history when you're neck deep in German twizzy.
My cousin, whom served 4-5 years in the Army also says that Germany was by far his favorite place to visit in the world. He actually said, he sometimes considers moving back! He met his wife out there while temporarily stationed. My uncle also is married to a woman from Germany and they're temporarily living because she was presented a job opportunity that would allow them to do so. He loves it and has considered not coming back to the US. He says it just one of those things you have to experience first hand to understand why. Which leads me to my next point: I need to take a trip out to Germany! Tour the whole country and all that.
Germany is definitely a place brothas should visit if they get chance. The atmosphere is just different in a good way. It was refreshing over there. Most ladies were chill and no problem with the IR. Some even do the approaching as oppose to what I am use to(I always do the approach). I didn't want to come back to the U.S., I could see myself living there if I needed to move. I'd learn some German and I'm good to go.
