Is Orlando really that bad for IR?

I've been looking to move to Orlando after I graduate (in a bout a year or so), but from the posts around here, it sounds like Orlando isn't too keen on IR. Is that true?

I've visited a few times, and it never seemed to be a problem, although I will admit that I didn't see many of them (if any at all).

Orlando is one of Florida's better cities (imo), I would hope that it's all good over there....

Can anyone with any experience there help me out?

 

Hmm....I have family living in Orlando...well the outskirts to be exact, But basically though. Two of my cousins are in IR relationships. I remember ladies coming up to me and introducing themselves because they could tell that I wasn't from Orlando, maybe because of how I was dressed lol. Everyone will have their individual experiences, I have no negativity to the city as of yet. I thought it was pretty liberal but some people say different.

If Orlando doesn't workout, try Miami. You can't go wrong there

Yeah, I live in West Palm, been down to Miami a time or two.

The thing is, though, if you don't have serious money, Miami can be a bad place.

 

Miami is definitely a big-time city, dont get me wrong. If I were a balla, it would be one of those places where I would be spending serious time, because the women are hotter, the weather is good, and all that.

Other than LA, what city is keen? I say forge ahead and if its not trendy, start the trend.

There's IR all over the country, in some places the men know all 5 women that like Black Men.

You'll just have to find them. No one place is friendly or unfriendly to IR, only certain sections in the country I know you know better than to even ask.

Even if you went to every nightclub, bowling alley, comedy club, grocery store in your area, you won't meet 5% of the available women. How you going to know who's into IR or not? Do women have Neon Signs over their head?

BBW's like me and I wonder about the Neon Sign myself but its not that at all, its because I let women contact me which means one of several things, see my Online Dating thread.

The best advice I can give anybody is be sincere and then canvas a web site with women in your area. If you go to an IR dating site and find 50 profiles, if 20 of them interest you, contact them all (no winks, flits or smiles). I would also contact any woman within say an hour's drive one way from you. That should open it up quite a bit.

Good Luck, though I would seriously entertain MOVING and I don't mean to Miami as was suggested earlier, that's not an upgrade, but likely a downgrade.
