IR Tension Building On WEEDS

:?: I've only heard about the series and haven't watched it yet but I've read that there may be some things "heating up" between the main character Nancy (Mary Louise-Parker) & the bro named Conrad (Romany Malco) :!:

Would love to see some feedback on this if anyone has checked it out... :wink:

Yeah, it is on Showtime. I've been watching it consistently for the past few weeks since they've been preparing for the new season. Not to give anything away, but I'm convinced that Nancy and Conrad will be together in the end. Since the show started, Conrad took one look at her when she came for a purchase (weed) and he dug her ever since. She tries to play it off, but everybody knows she notices and probably wouldn't turn him down if he made a move.

But remember folks. This is still Hollywood. They'll keep building their relationship over time. (They're going into business together this season) Probably won't sleep together until the show nears the end of it's run, unless "the Brass" in Tinseltown releases that invisible barrier keeping black men and white women from hookin' up on camera. (I'm convinced it exists)

Overall folks, if ya'll got the means to watch it, please do so. The show is tight. All the characters are allowed to develop as they should. There's alot of sick and cynical humor which underlines the seriousness of the drug dealing, particularly from the kat who plays Nancy's step-brother. He's hilarious!! In nobledruali's post, he's the guy in the far right corner next to Elizabeth Perkins. Hope ya'll tune in.

I have seen the first season on "Weeds" she had sex with everyone except the black guy even though there were hints of sexual attraction.

The brother did have sex with her neighbor/friend.

Too bad I have HBO instead of Showtime. I'd be watching that then. Ah well hopefully it'll be on dvd soon.

 

You hit it on the head HS72. This is Hollywood and not the UK or Europe when it comes to the sensual relationship between Black men and White women.

 

She is married to a DEA agent 4 episodes in. So I don't know if that will play out.

No,she isn't screwing around with other guys. And the Conrad thing has sexual tension but nothing has happened yet. He did sleep with her friend.
