Grand Rapids, MI has a alot of interracial bm/ww couples. In fact, I would safely say there is a high prevalence of this kind of IR coupling.
I would agree with grand rapids, ann arbor is another city I've noticed ir couples , but the ann arbor area is really a melting pot of all cultures, classes ,and lifestyles. With more and more black families leaving detroit for many valid reasons mainly education, crime, more and more black people will be living where it was un heard of for them to live. I grew up in a town that a one time had zero black residents, went to a big high school where there was one black guy and one black girl and yes they were related. I think within 10 years it will be more common to see ww/bm together, but at the same time there are ww just like me who grew up not surrounded by many black people at all, I admit I was very prejudice and probably still am, but it took me going to college to a liberal area away from my hometown, to open my mind up to knowing a black men, and then dating black men.
Same here i grew up in a all progressive black environment, went to college and i guess discovered white women, ... i spend time in royal oak and its pretty diverse or on the verge of being diverse.
I'm in Detroit-- looking to party with mixed racial groups.. anybody know the best places to hang out?
Ditto Grand Rapids. (That's my hometown!) Less in the suburbs though. But that is changing fast. Just in the past few years, I've seen much more of a trend in ww from the burbs seeking this out. It is not uncommon is some clubs here to see ww/bm pairing up being the majority on the dance floor. Mainly because a lot of the wm don't want to dance, they just stand there holding there beers, while the bm come right out. When this starts to happen a lot at a club, it seems the wm get frustrated and go elsewhere, while the bm come back for more. The next thing you know the club is known for that.
