    Hello everybody,

I’m new here. After surfing the website, it looks like most of you are from USA, aren’t you?
Just interesting to know if you have ever considered not only interracial but also international dating? I mean meeting the people from other countries? And since we have started talking about it, what stereotypes have you encountered?
I know one for sure – all Russian women are spammers! :)
I’m from Ukraine, that’s very close to Russia, by the way… :) )

So, have you got any ideas about meeting somebody abroad?

Nuar: if you have spent time in this site reading post, you would know that there are people from the US, Germany, UK, and other countries. This is interracial website, meaning we date, love and marry people from a different race than ourselves, we dont care what country they come from, as long as they are white women who are interested in love with black men.

I dont see many russian white women interested in black men.

well, I dunno everybody here yet , since I've been here only for a few days.
And in majority most people (males and females) seem to be from North america and also some from Europe...
Anyway, Russians are not much interested in blacks because there are only a few of them in Russia, and those whom you can rearly meet are mostly from Africa, students. So, that is the general image of black guy in russia or Ukraine. The same as Chinese or Korean guys. Actually in Ukraine, for example there are twice or 3 times more chinese than black people.
That is why, I think, Russians are not very interested in meeting anybody black, - they simply don't have an experiance of comunicating with them and they imagine them as if from other planet mostly. :)

there are not many blacks in scandanavia or germany either but german women seem to be interested in them. not many blacks in australia but there is a good interest in black men. so that is not an excuse, it seems to be more in the culture of the Russian, ukrainian people to be xenophobic

I've been in Norway - there are much more black people than in Ukraine. 3 times, if not even more. The same in Germany or France.
Just try to make a search on any website in Finland, Sweeden or Norway - you will find many of them. When living in Norway - there was a family of 4 people living in the nearby - all black, they had a farm there. Where in Ukraine/Russia will you ever see a black man in a village??? :) you can ever see him/her in the city once in a year... :D

But the reason is not even in that.
I'm not going arguing with you about what russian people like... :) Some are xenofobian, some - are not, but most of them just don't care.
So, don't take it too seriously.

I knew definately one couple of black american and a girl from Ukraine. and another one of a black guy in San-Marino also with Russian girl. These are just few examples. Though, I'm not gonna prove you anything.

regardless of the actual numbers, the overall image of blacks in norway (and other parts of scandinavia) is not as negative as it is in russia, ukraine, and other parts of eastern europe. and as i mentioned in an earlier thread, russians (ukranians and eastern europeans) are too concerned with individual survival and living another day to even care about their "reputation" to the outside world or "rethinking their image of blacks"

With all the threads about Russian, communistic, nationalistic, xenophobic, violent, lazy, slow-witted skinheads, this would have to ring a bell with some people by now.

yes, but what some people fail to understand is whether it's one person or one million, it's the overall image of a people, not their numbers, that determines their overall perception and treatment. in a civilized world, lack of exposure to different people is no excuse for their profound ignorance or savage behavior.

    Ukraine or Norway

Hey Nuar Welcome to WW/BM. Are you living in Norway or the Ukraine? In some parts of Scandinavian and Eastern Europe there are some Black men but mostly they came from Africa. Plus there are some who are born in the US or UK as well as Germany.

I have to agree with some of the guys on here! Some of the Russian women (that I have met) seem to act like some of the American girls we have discussed - the ones that will like you but do everything humanly possible to repress that emotion ( I have my evidence). Do I care? Of course not. I tend to be somewhat indifferent (in terms of attraction. Otherwise, I treat them as I would treat any other person) to the Russian women I have met thus far. So I guess the feeling is mutual. That being said, I have to be honest enough to tell you that my exposure to Russian women has been somewhat limited.

I only have two Russian friends, and they are both hideously racist - one asked me if sleeping with any of my black exes was like sleeping with a monkey!

I'm not going to draw any conclusions from my experiences because that seems a bit unfair but still...the same one does like to say regularly "oh Russians don't like black people, no"

Where I live in Cali, there are alot of Russian women and I met a few when I lived in Europe too, most here would like to meet a brotha, but the cultural taboo sometimes is too strong. These girls luv hip hop as much as others, ad the whole package of black men is often painted thru media rather than by personal experience.

I've read this article on the topic

    http://www.new-dating.net/magazine-one.php?article=165

and I agree with most of it. When it comes to black men, there is a good number of Russian women married to blacks worldwide, I know quite a few myself, but because the Russian population itself is so large, they remain a small minority. There is still a lot of racism in the Russian community towards black people as well as towards many immigrant communities in the US. I remember writing a letter to a New York Russian newspaper about my mixed marriage, and my letter was published and drew replies. I wrote, among other things, about our dentist, who is an older Russian man and when he first saw us he just stared. Then he got to know us, and told us we're great guys and gave us a discount...

I dated a russian girl in london for a couple of months but she sadly had to go back to russia when her visa ran out. I have always thought girls from eastern europe and the eastern block were so beautiful..

Any one know where I could meet an east european girl in london?

    Re: Ukraine or Norway

    only 41 members?

all facts (and if you don't like the facts, you can call them stereotypes and generalizations) aside, russian women and black men are simply not that interested in each other...

    Re: Ukraine or Norway

    Agree with you.
Only 41 members, and even less now (some cleanings... :D)
And of course compare to the population of Russia and others Former SU countries this number is only a small exception among the generalized facts...

But the world is made by exceptions, not by general facts!
All great people who achieved something more than others or who changed the world in some way were EXCEPTIONS. :)

And I would prefer being an exception than "one of many"... :)
