Interracial dating/marrying destroys the races/cultures.

I don't believe this but its always said by racists and people who don't agree with interracial dating. What are your views on this being used as an excuse by racists to be against interracial dating?

I think that it helps to preserve it more, since the spread of diseases, famine, poverty, destruction, rape, and incest are imminent in nationalist societies, and places like Russia have these problems all the time.

 

well Jxsilicon: because it is coming from racist, i dont give it much thought. to me it is ignorant, seeing as race is a social construct created to divide people, used by racist.

I have many racial mixes in my family and it hasnt destroyed any one, i respect and celebrate my african heritage, my celtic heritage, my latin heritage, my creole heritage and my native american heritage.

so I think it is a bunk as is the racist rant about IR babies will be confused and have a hard time in life. the last time I checked, Black children in the US were catching the most hell, not just IR babies, and Native American babies are off the charts with problems. So that racist crap carries no weight. it is the racist who make it so hard, and if I confront that ignorance head on, it usually subsides

 

We're all mutts anyway....especially in the U.S....I don't care how "black" you look or how "white" you think you are...virtually all of us have ethnicity's in our blood that are not apparent just by sight alone. The cultures have already mixed...I think Tucker has a lot of family in South Carolina...they speak Gullah down there right? That's a mix of various African languages (Wolof, Mandinka, Ibo, Akan, etc.) and the broken English taught to the African slaves by Irishmen and Scotsmen....biracial kids of today are just continuing the tradition.

 

There was a study a few years ago that selected random people from around the world and traced all of their genes back to one man in Africa - or something like that!

Also, it has been proven that children whose parents come from very different gene pools have better immune systems as they receive immunity from both parents. Hence why too much in-breeding often produces disabled children etc.

 

yes chosen, my people on the sea coast speak Gullah, we are the Mende people from Sierra Leone. We dont have mixtures with many whites but some native americans. but yes we still speak creole mixture of langauge.

i believe on certain matters yes, and compromise is another one in a democracy--but only on non principled and personal issues.

Racists are the ones usually saying it destroys races,culture,etc. They talk about how they have to preserve white blood or some other crap. Then you have the people who are racist but think just saying we shouldn't mix isn't racist. They think as long as they aren't burning crosses then their not racist's.

And, it's all incredibly stupid when it all boils down to it, because studies on race-relations have shown that mixed babies are less likely to be born WITHOUT genetic bodily inefficiencies that non-mixed babies. Along with that, how the hell can you destroy an entire human race of people by simply intermingling? *Sigh* We are ALL a part of the SAME species, therefore, we are ALL the SAME race, so there is no way that interracial 'breeding' can destroy the 'human races and cultures' in any shape or form...

and, let say for example, I move to Ireland, and settle down with a hot redhead, knock her up again and again, and making several children. Sooner or later, more of my kids will be white than black, (if not mixed) because of the climate I would be in, and if a white woman were to move to Africa or the Caribbean somewhere and get knocked up over and over again by some dude, then what shade to you think that most of her kids will be if she stays in that area of the world long enough?

Bottom line is this: Without Interracial relations, the human race doomed to death/destruction/failure in existence.

 

It destroys what racists would call pure race, because groups like blondes and red heads are slowly lost from the population as everyone becomes a bit darker...or in the case of largely black countries, a bit fairer. But everyone knows that mixed race children are beautiful, and that dark haired people are much sexier, so I'm all for it. Can't fight it anyway, in another few generations everyone white will be olive skinned and dark haired.

Obviously if racial purists had half a brain they would realise there is no such thing as pure race any more - and hasn't been for several hundreds of years.

Sometimes I think IR couples, especially when children are born tend to dig deeper for the children to take responsibility for them to understand both sides of their culture.

Often those who date same race do not even think about it.

I know my family came from Sweden, Norway and Finland. But can I tell you about our history there and background? No. So many white Americans lost their history when they came to America. They were chastised to even speak their country language and so they learned the English language and put behind them their cultures from their homeland to be American. so how much did we retain?
