Interesting turn of events

    I read in the newspaper today that Henry Louis Gates and Officer James Crowley (of recent fame..LOL) are apparently related through a distant Irish relative.

    Wow...we always forget in this nation that black folks and white folks are more intertwined than we would like.

    Wow, that's really interesting, kinda makes you think.

    It sure does make it sound really stupid for anyone to hate another person, because they're probably your 60th cousin twice removed, or something. LOL. :smt109

    Didn't they say Obama was distantly related to Bush, Cheney and Brad Pitt? lol.

    Dr Gates did a series a few years ago for PBS. I remember watching it and that is what the series showed.
