Yeah, rather than vote on expanding instant replay, MLB said they would re-train umpires on positioning on plays at their base or at home plate. The umpires weren't out of position when they blew calls in the playoffs...they just blew calls. The GM's were strong-armed by MLB. Not even to take a vote on this issue was foolish.
