In MY hometown of Chicago....DAMN!!

I kinda sorta hafta resist the urge to feel like a CAD for seeing this news item a considerable time after it happened...

And even WORSE of a cad for not posting it here till now...but I *have* been busy, m8's...I'm sure you will understand.....

But the sickness that fuels actions like *this* is STILL infesting World Society..

So, sadly, it's NOT like this has any kind of expiration date..

The most painful thing to see....is that it was one of my Dad's colleagues (Metaphorically, as he retired from the Rank of Captain in 1981) responsible for this HATEFUL deed.


Father, as well as his fellow Captain Richard Velker (A White guy who was BEST MAN at my parent's wedding All Those Years Ago), are both in Heaven quaking with a mix of anger, dismay, rage, pain, and disgust over such a disgusting thing having been committed by one of their own..



I kinda sorta mebbe thought (Half-facietious mode) that a thing like this was EXCLUSIVE in a fiefdom like The Mistake On The Lake...Cleveland, Ohio...where there was a LESS than open and welcoming reception & atmosphere for me & my family as well as my IR dating lifestyle...from both Blacks and Whites..

You'll note that I *did* say "half-facetious"..but that also means considerably serious, as well....

But, mind you, the rancour and hatred ARE there....VERY strongly...
