There you go with your retarded hypothetical situations again. SMH.

Just because someone is acting "suspicious" doesnt mean they will automatically be detained. If you are a legal citizen or legal immigrant, you pretty much have NOTHING to worry about but dont let that get in the way of your foolish arguments.

And if I were you, I would ask for a refund from the college you attended lol.;)

    (just joking....well sorta)

Way to shit on all the African Americans that had rocks thrown at their faces during that time Kanye! Great job you fuckin retard. No suprise that he has an album titled "College Dropout". smh

And Rage againist the Machine should shut the fuck up as well. They are the biggest hypocrites out of all of em. Always promoting socialism while they have been reeping the benefits of captialism from day one. Fuckin posers.

For all you bleeding-hearts who are pro-illegal, look at this: A young black man with a promising future was murdered in cold blood by a illegal gangbanger (who was released from prison less than 24 hrs).

For those who think Black people are down with the illegal immigrants, read this.

A lot of those illegal gangbangers go to school with the Black kids they murder..they target the best and brightest.

    Jealousy is a mofo.

They know...like the irish..italian..and jewish immigrants before them...that they can kill Black people and get away with it.

It's fucked up that the best and the brightest black kids are taken away from us while we're left with the losers and morons.

Mexico doesn't even want their sorry asses.

Nothing good comes to a scab.

The Chinese immigrants will be killing their sons 20 years from now.

    Like they say:

I wish that website gave more information about what Jamiel's law included. If there was more information, I might donate. Unfortunately, the whole thing is just the emotional pitch. It's a good one, it worked on me, lol. But I wish they would spell out on the website what the law is, so that we could decide whether we want to support it or not.

If the law involves making sure we don't release illegal immigrants from jail, I would support that. If it suggests we deport every illegal immigrant immediately following arrest, I would probably support that. Hell, seeing Chicago in the state it is in, if the law suggested just arresting every gang member and deporting them whether they are citizens or not, I'd probably support tha, lol.

But the site makes my cold cynical heart suspicious. It's full of emotion, but no fact. It makes me wonder whether it was really built by the family, or if there's some nefarious white politician behind the whole thing, exploiting this family's pain, and this great guy's death, to advance his political career.

Like I said, I am tempted to donate, but not if it's just gonna go in some white politician's pocket.

It's legit. The father set everything up. No white politicians behind it. Maybe there is still hope for you after all.

Smooth, I know you edited the part Andrae quoted out, but just to respond:

No, I don't see all White guys as crooked. I love my father and brother dearly, and there are many wonderful White guys married to my friends or doing business with my company or who went to school with me that I respect and do not consider crooked.

The guy behind Jamiel's Law, as it turns out, is a White politician. There is one living politician of any race that I "trust" not to be corrupt, and he does happen to be White. This guy isn't him.

I did some more research on the guy. He definitely is not a politician I would support. I do not support abolishing all gang programs and giving all that money to the police. I think part of the problem is that our police force is frequently as corrupt as the gangs they are supposed to be arresting, and just throwing money at the cops won't help, particularly in a city like LA where the police have a history of brutally targeting innocent minorities. I don't support eliminating taxes on business. I don't support ending government support for non profits. I don't think building a nuclear power plant in LA is a good idea, but hell better there than here. I don't support using eminent domain for the purpose of parking, I think that's kinda sick. I don't support privatizing building inspections. I am so far against ending any support of affordable housing that there's no real way of measuring it.

So no, I don't think every White guy is crooked. I think that particular White politician is not someone I would support, and I don't want to financially support him. Do I think he's crooked? Probably.

Greater research reveals that this is about an argument regarding the best way to end gang crime.

Special Order 40 apparently was the idea that if illegal aliens are not afraid of being deported, they will be more likely to cooperate with the police and report crimes. So they don't investigate the legal status of people they arrest, in the hopes that they'll be more likely to talk.

    The result was Jamiel's murder.

I see that the intentions behind Special Order 40 were probably good, but in my own obviously underinformed opinion, it seems like it should be repealed.

I'm not an LA resident, and maybe there are parts to this I'm not seeing, but at the moment it does seem like Special Order 40 needs to go.
